Pack 4600 information about Blue & Gold and upcoming events

Our Blue & Gold banquet is quickly approaching.  We will have it on Thursday, March 31st in Lowery Hall at TUMC.  Please make plans to attend this event as we celebrate the accomplishments of our scouts this year.  Dinner is going to be provided by our Pack.  We are looking for volunteers that are willing to bring dessert for this event.  Something simple like cookies, brownies, or cup cakes.  It you can bring any of these please let me know at toddandtracicook@verizon.net

If you plan on attending the Dallas Cowboys Sleepover on April 9th, the deadline to order tickets is April 1st.  You will need to purchase tickets to this event on your own.  A flier for this event is attached.

Scout Day with the Texas Rangers is Saturday May 28th.  Tickets for this event range in price from $11 to $39.  Please use the attached flier to purchase your tickets.  We will have a tailgate party with hotdog, chips and drinks 2 hours prior to game time.  If you are going to attend this event please email me at toddandtracicook@verizon.net so we can make sure to have the right amount of food.

We are looking for scouts to make welcome home posters for our troops.  These posters will be used at an event on April 2nd.  If you can make some posters please let me know.  You can bring your completed posters to the Blue & Gold banquet on Thursday, March 31st.

We will be participating in the Medal of Honor parade this year on Saturday April 9th.  This event is held in Gainesville, TX.  We did this last year and our scouts loved it.  The scouts will ride on military transport trucks in the parade.  More details on this event will be provided later and a sign up sheet will be at our Blue & Gold banquet for those who would like to participate.

Yours in Scouting,

Todd Cook
